This Privacy Policy explains how AeroGuardian ("we", "us", "our") handles information you provide through this website. AeroGuardian is an early-stage autonomous hiking safety drone currently in a pre-launch waitlist phase. The product is not yet available for sale, and this site exists to share information and collect early-access signups.

1. What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect only the information you enter into the signup form:

• First and last name
• Email address
• An optional message you choose to include

We also receive standard technical information that your browser sends with any web request, such as your browser type and the time of submission. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics profiling on this site.

2. How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

• Add you to the AeroGuardian early-access waitlist
• Send you product updates, launch news, and early-access invitations related to AeroGuardian
• Understand demand and improve the product before launch

We will not send you unrelated marketing, and we do not sell your information. You can ask to be removed from the waitlist at any time.

3. Where your information is stored

Waitlist submissions are processed and stored through Netlify Forms, the hosting platform that serves this website. Your data is held on Netlify's infrastructure under their security and privacy terms. A temporary copy of a submission may also be held in your own browser's local storage on the device you used, purely to display recent signups during this demo phase. That browser copy stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.

4. Sharing with third parties

We share your information only with service providers that make this website work, currently our hosting and form provider, Netlify. We may disclose information if required by law. Beyond that, we do not share, rent, or sell your personal information to anyone.

5. How long we keep it

We keep waitlist information until the earlier of: the AeroGuardian launch and onboarding being complete, or you asking us to delete it. Once it is no longer needed for the waitlist, we remove it.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• See what information we hold about you
• Correct it if it is wrong
• Delete it and remove you from the waitlist

To make any of these requests, contact us using the details below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local data protection law, such as the EU GDPR.

7. Children

This site and the AeroGuardian product are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will remove it.

8. Changes to this policy

As AeroGuardian moves from waitlist to launch, this policy will change to reflect new features such as the mobile app and connected drone services. When it does, we will update the date at the top of this page.
