These Terms govern your use of the AeroGuardian website and your participation in our early-access waitlist. AeroGuardian is an autonomous hiking safety drone concept currently in development and pre-launch. By using this site or joining the waitlist, you agree to these Terms.

1. About this stage

AeroGuardian is not yet a finished product. Everything described on this site, including hardware pricing of around $1,520, a $50 per month subscription option, autonomous trail following, AI and LiDAR hazard detection, terrain mapping, and emergency GPS signaling, describes our intended design. Features, specifications, pricing, and availability are not final and may change or may not ship at all. Nothing on this site is a binding offer to sell a product.

2. The waitlist

Joining the waitlist reserves your interest in early access. It is free, it is not a purchase, and it does not guarantee that you will receive a device or a specific price. We may contact you with updates about AeroGuardian. You can ask to leave the waitlist at any time. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.

3. Safety disclaimer

AeroGuardian is intended as a supplementary safety aid. When the product launches, it will depend on factors outside our control, including battery level, weather, terrain, GPS and mobile network coverage, and correct setup by the user. Any of these can reduce or stop its ability to detect hazards or send an emergency signal.

Because of this, you should always:

• Carry independent emergency communication, such as a satellite messenger or beacon
• Tell someone your route and expected return time
• Follow local park rules, trail conditions, and weather warnings
• Carry appropriate gear and not rely on any single device for survival

AeroGuardian is not an emergency service and does not replace official search and rescue, emergency hotlines, or professional guides.

4. No warranty

This website and any pre-launch information are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of the information shown. We do not promise the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AeroGuardian and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or your reliance on pre-launch information. Because AeroGuardian is not yet a product you can buy or use, nothing here creates liability for the performance of a device that has not been delivered. Any terms covering the use of the actual drone and app will be provided separately at launch and will govern that use.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where that exclusion is prohibited.

6. Intellectual property

The AeroGuardian name, logo, site design, text, and graphics are the property of the AeroGuardian team and may not be copied or reused without permission, except where the law allows. The product is being developed as part of a university business program in Georgia.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse this site, including by submitting false information, attempting to access non-public areas, interfering with the site's operation, or using automated tools to scrape or overload it.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia (the country), where the AeroGuardian team is based. Any dispute will be handled by the courts located there, unless local consumer law gives you a different mandatory right.
